I'd have to guess the cop was at fault. If the truck wasn't moving forward, I doubt the car would be able to get pulled in that far. Plus, in order to get up there in the first place he would have had to be traveling even faster than the truck. Possibly another case of asshole cops neglecting to use lights or sirens?

You guys are acting like this was accidental. This, quite obviously, the "Zero Fucks Given" (hereafter referred to as "ZFG"... Yeah, I think I need to come up with a tee design for that!)method for tire changing. This was the most expedient way to elevate the wheel to an ergonomic height facilitating the removal.

"I could have sworn I had a little bit more room to pass"
Cop or not it pisses me off when people get as close as possible when passing. Leave some space, save some dignity.
In the event he wasn't passing and was just an idiot - "you're fired!"

That's what you call a departmental infraction right there.

They tend to turn their lights/sirens on all the time. Probably talking on the cellphone because rules don't apply to cops.

That's one hell of an expensive tire change.

Not all the time.
The scary thing is it happens quite frequently, and it only gets reported when they do crash. So it's probably a lot more common than we know.
